Don't Jump

Anybody who really knows me, knows that Tokio Hotel is my favorite band. Seeing as I am currently going through withdrawals of their music, I decided to make another musical connection on my blog.
Here, enjoy a picture I drew of the lead singer, from the music video of "Don't Jump".

Suicide is something I am familiar with. I have a very strong conviction that there is always a way out. People are different, and they go through different things, I am very aware of that, but there's no better way than living and pushing through your trials. There is no better satisfaction than beating the thing that seemed to consume your life.
In the song, "Don't Jump" by Tokio Hotel, there is an uplifting message of never giving up. That there is always someone who cares, even if you may not see it. I put all of the lyrics, because I feel like the song speaks for itself. If you get the chance, I highly recommend you see the music video.
On top of the roof
The air is so cold and so calm
I say your name in silence
You don't wanna hear it right now
The eyes of the city
Are counting the tears falling down
Each one a promise
Of everything you never found

I scream into the night for you
Don't make it true
Don't jump
The lights will not guide you through
They're deceiving you
Don't jump
Don't let memories go
Of me and you
The world is down there out of view
Please don't jump

You open your eyes
But you can't remember what for
The snow falls quietly
You just can't feel it no more
Somewhere out there
You lost yourself in your pain
You dream of the end
To start all over again

I scream into the night for you
Don't make it true
Don't jump
The lights will not guide you through
They're deceiving you
Don't jump
Don't let memories go
Of me and you
The world is down there out of view
Please don't jump
Don't jump

I don't know how long
I can hold you so strong
I don't know how long

Just take my hand
Give it a chance
Don't jump

I scream into the night for you
Don't make it true
Don't jump
The lights will not guide you through
They're deceiving you
Don't jump
Don't let memories go
Of me and you
The world is down there out of view
Please don't jump
Don't jump
And if all that can't hold you back
I'll jump for you
There are times when it seems easier to just give up and let go of this life. But I can tell you, it's much much more worth it to stick it out, even though it's harder. When it seems that life is too much, and nobody would care if you were gone, or that people would be better off without you, it's time to get on your knees and pray, even if you've never prayed before. Even though it seems like nobody cares, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ do. Jesus Christ suffered the atonement for every single one of us, and therefore knows exactly how you feel.
If nothing else convinces you to hold on, then know that I care. I care about you, even if I don't know you. I feel the love for you that no one else does, and "I'll jump for you." I know that it is hard, but the moment you overcome that trial, that bump in the road that seems to stretch on forever, you will feel the joy that appeared to be out of reach. I promise you that.
